Even if you follow healthy vocal techniques and practices, you're not impervious to wear and tear. In this lesson, David explains what to do if you think you have sustained some kind of vocal injury.

An important part of vocal health is understanding that it's not a sprint, it's a marathon. Different people are going to develop at different speeds and that's okay. We encourage everyone working through this program to do so at their own pace and not to rush through it. Developing the muscle memory and healthy practices takes time so if you don't immediately get something to work the way you want it to, don't fret, just keep working at it.
